So for those of you who have been scratching their heads as  to whether I would even update this site or just let it stagnate, rest assured that I am around.

I’ve just been goddamn busy is all.

Firstly, in January, I got picked up to do some writing for ComicBooked, a US comic and gaming website with a shopfront based at Virginia Beach. They have been getting all of my best words lately, bless them. It’s been a great opportunity too – I’m networking and meeting some great independent comic creators at the moment, and I have a public platform to profess my shameful Bioware love on a regular basis.

They were even daring enough to get me to podcast. Ha. That’s been amusing. I think Jean Michel and I still laugh about that …

Pippin Tiberius

See this? See this thing? He never stops being a legend. Statement of fact.

In between all of that, I was as sick as a dog in February. Adding further dramas, my legendary budgie Pippin Tiberius also decided to succumb to some liver issues. Anyone who believes that looking after a budgerigar is easy? Yeah. No. His medical expenses managed to eclipse mine. But as we all know, we do anything for our loved ones, and Pippin Tiberius will always be a legend.

If that financial burden was not enough, I then had the audacity to travel to Melbourne so that the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra could create mini-climaxes in my brain as they played all of my favourite video game soundtracks. I am still mindblown.

While it may not be enough to qualify my neglectful ways to my own site, I have learned a lot in the last few months and I’m hoping to bring it all to my blog here, as well as post up some articles of my own.

Be awesome, peeps.
